About Us

In 2009, my world completely shattered. I lost my firstborn son to a heart defect. The grief was unbearable, and like a lot of people in that position, I didn’t handle it well. I bricked myself — kind of like I did to my first Mac, just without the manual to fix it.

But over time, healing came. Through a support group for parents who had lost children, I met the woman who would become my wife. And through that shared pain, we built something solid — a life grounded in empathy, trust, and always having each other’s backs.

Now we’re the proud parents of three amazing kids — two 12-year-olds and a 10-year-old — and we’ve made it our mission to be the kind of support system we wish we’d had when we were growing up.

And somewhere in all the chaos of raising kids, working full-time, and trying to keep the fridge stocked, we started finding little pockets of time for us. A few minutes here, a headset there… and boom — we were hooked. We picked up the VR headset one of our kids left lying around, tried Ghosts of Tabor, and before we knew it, we were clearing rooms like a co-op headshot dream team (or at least a work-in-progress version).

That’s when something clicked — gaming together wasn’t just fun, it was energizing. It brought back creativity, connection, and a spark we didn’t even know we needed. And that spark started to grow into ideas… big ones.
